MOP & SOP for HSDPA Testing

To carry out tests on the HSDPA Node B base stations on site, there are several steps that must be considered include the following :

Tools :
  1. HSDPA Modem support,
  2. Laptop/computer,
  3. Software : Total Commander full support for FTP, NetperSec.
Modem Setting :
There are several parameters to be set on a USB modem, among others :

  1. Setting Profile and APN (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail) : 
  • Profile : HSDPA_Test (Free to change),
  • Dial Number : ***# (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail),
  • Username : **-*** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail),
  • Password : *********** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail),
  • APN : ************** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail).
     2.  Create as a default connection on Modem, 
     3.  Close modem until we need it later. 

 


     4.  Setting up your Total Commander :
  • Open FTP Connection,
  • Create New Session on FTP Total Commander,
  • Session Name : HSDPA_Test (Free to Change),
  • IP Host Name : ***.***.***.*** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail),
  • Username : ***** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail)
  • Password : ***** (Ask your ASP or Vendor for detail)

 
 

     5.   Close Total Commander or put in the background,
     6.   After all setting, open your connection with USB Modem,
     7.   Connect USB Modem with default profile was created before,
     8.   After USB Modem connect, connect your FTP Connection on Total Commander,
     9.   Open NetperSec, under setting choose your modem card as a bandwith monitoring,
    10.  After connect to the server required, try to download any file from server,
    11.  Now You will be see Testing Result on NetperSec as picture below :



     12.  You need 15 minutes (Ask RNC Team for log time) to confirm HSDPA Test fromRNC.
